“To provide versatile and efficient graders.”

Our desire to create a better, more efficient grader was born from a lifetime of operating, installing and selling laser buckets. Beginning with miniature buckets towed behind lawn tractors for sports fields, it grew into the business you see today with the first Toomey laser bucket completed in 2012. Through exhaustive trials in the harsh Australian conditions, Toomey Earthmovers’ graders have evolved into the tough and reliable machinery you see today.

Bucket in sticky soil
Roger in history

Earthmoving is Roger’s life. From his origins towing laser buckets through servicing, manufacturing and sales, Roger has experienced the full spectrum of commercially available machines. It was this experience that drove him to fill a noticeable gap in the market: operating with soft, sticky soil. After heavily modifying his then Horwood Bagshaw laser bucket to increase performance under these conditions, his mind kept going, seeking further improvements and greater efficiencies. After several years and countless designs, his dreams finally became reality with the full range of Toomey Earthmovers laser buckets available today.
